From July 31, 2018 though June 9, 2019, I played “Katie”, the bass player on the First National tour of the School of Rock.
For 44 weeks I performed in 33 cities and and 315 shows. It was truly the greatest experience ever. I met so many great people and had so much fun performing and traveling.

The Audition
In early May, 2018, I attended an open call audition for the School of Rock. My family wanted an excuse to go to NYC and also to give me some experience of auditioning. A week later, we received an email inviting me to a callback for the role of Katie (the bass player). I attended that for sure and then received another email for a third call back.
The third callback was fun, and at the end of that they asked if I could come back later that day for yet another round, which of course I did.
The video below was made the night before the third call back. It is only 1 minute long and at the very end I show my dad how happy I am to keep recording this song!
